Gone, Baby Gone...

If your child hasn't taken scissors to their hair yet...they will. Aidan has had trains stuck in his, cut a small chunk that I - at the time - thought was awful. I had to trim his hair. Today I stuck him in the bathroom to well...ya know. Anyway - later on I went in and there were beautiful locks of hair the color of wheat at noonday. I looked at Aidan's hair and noticed a nice sized chunk out of the top of his hair. So I trimmed his hair again and noticed larger, close to the skin chunks taken out. Daddy then stepped in and did the dirty work while mommy tried to hide her crying.

Aidan was okay when they first started. It tickled and he didn't mind it so much. He just kept moving around making it more difficult for Jeff to do it.

Still okay. Jeff is obviously enjoying this. After Aidan saw what was going on in the mirror he started crying saying he wanted his hair and he didn't want to look like Harry.

This has been a traumatic thing for me. Everytime he comes into the room or I walk in on him I almost scream. He looks absolutely adorable, he just doesn't look like my Bob anymore! Jeff had to shave his head after this so he and daddy can have the same hair. He even has the same hair as Gramps!!! We'll have to make sure we get a picture of the bald guys when they go to Mississippi this week! :)

Hangin' with Mrs. Lynch

We got to go hang out at Jessica's house which was an absolute blast!! The boys played so well together! We were so happy! They drank chocolate milk with whipped cream, played swords and watched a movie. Noah's cousins, Riley and Carson came over and they all played together so well.

Murray Park

At Murray Park, the fireman came out and sprayed all of the kids. It was so much fun. They only did it for about 20 minutes, but you could tell that the kids were all having so much fun! Aidan wasn't too sure about it, but he liked watching the other kids get wet. Whenever I told him to go out and play he said "No, mom. Thats for the kids."

This is Harry's new face. :) He does this all the time. Because it isn't in reaction to anything, it makes it all the more hilarious. Me and Harry got sprayed a little bit by the hose and he loved it.

This was as close as Bob would get. He still thought the water was pretty awesome!

Wheeler Farm

Harry thought the turkeys were pretty funny. He is so cute! His personality is growing so much. Its so much fun to be with him.

Aidan insisted on an action shot here. He was feeding the ducks and he thought he was the coolest thing in town! I love this kid!

Breaking Dawn

I had my 10 year class reunion Friday/Saturday (another story! Yikes) so Jeff and I drove down to Salt Lake on Thursday because we figured if we were going to be there then we should go to the Breaking Dawn release party. I begged for my sisters and cousins to go with me but they couldn't or wouldn't. However, Jessica's best friend Kristen Spencer was willing to go with me! I took Jeff to work at the Sandy office and then went to Target to shop for an outfit for my reunion. I was going to go to Barnes and Noble afterwards to get a wristband. Well....There was a massive line at Barnes and Noble so I toted the boys and got in line. They were so good the whole time! We were in line for a little over an hour. Jess and Noah came and stood with us for a bit too.

That night, Jeff and I went to dinner and then to B&N to meet Kristen so we could do the whole party thing. It really was a lot of fun. There were sooo many people there! The theme of the party was Edward and Bella's wedding reception so a lot of girls and guys were dressed up. They had a few games and a costume contest. It was really just insane.

They had about 25 people in each group and there were 100 groups. They called them all by group number to sell the book. At about 12:45 they were on group 5. We were group A. It was gonna be awhile. Kristen started calling her sisters and brothers asking them to go look around to see if they could find the book anywhere. Jeana - bless her little soul - went to their neighborhood Walmart (just a grocery store) and there were about 20 people there! So she bought the books for us and we left to go pick them up from her. It was a fun night even though we didn't even get our book from there. We have some nice (in my case- embarassing) pictures to remember it.
